The Stearman Aircraft Company, established initially at Venice, California in 1927, but soon moving to Wichita, Kansas, combined Lloyd Stearman's design genius with the backing of the Lyle-Goyt Aircraft Corporation. In 1934 this company became a subsidiary of the Boeing Airplane Company, and in 1939 became its Wichita Division. More World War II pilots learned to fly in this airplane than any other plane. All airplane models are Hand Carved, Hand Painted Mahogany and come fully assembled with removable desk stand.
