This airplane was first tested in 1935, with Hs 123s entering service in the autumn of 1936. Though this airplane was not built in large numbers, besides being used initially in Germany, by 1943 it had been used in Spain, Poland, France, Belgium, and the Soviet Union. This airplane was powered by one 880-hp BMW 9-cylinder 132Dc radial piston engine, giving the plane a maximum speed of 211 mph at 3.935 feet, cruising speed of 196 mph at 6,560 feet, service ceiling of 29,530 feet, and a range of 531 miles. Airplane armament was two forward-firing 7.92-mm (31-caliber) MG 17 machine guns, plus provision for up to 992 lbs. of bombs. All airplane models are Hand Carved, Hand Painted Mahogany and come fully assembled with removable desk stand.
