Beech T-1A Jayhawk model airplane

Originally the Mitsubishi Diamond II, the T-1A is a version of the Model 400 Beechjet. To compete for the major USAF competition for a new Tanker-Transport Training System, Beech teamed with McDonnell Douglas and FlightSafety International to offer the Beechjet. The T-1A was powered by two Pratt & Whitney Canada 2,900 lb. thrust turbofans, with a maximum speed at 29,000 ft of 531 mph, ceiling of 45,000 ft, and range of 2,222 miles with four passengers.

This model is in precision polymer to exacting specifications. It is hand painted, and comes fully assembled with removable desk stand.
