The Comanche is designed for armed reconnaissance, attack, and air-combat missions, with low detectability. The composite airframe, flight controls, fuel system, and rotors are resistant to small arms fire. The Comanche has a crashworthy airframe, landing gear, crew seats, and fuel system. It is able to operate in nuclear, biological, and chemical (NBC) environments; and can refuel in under 15 minutes. Armament is a three-barrel turreted 20mm gun with 500 rounds internal and external missile stations. It has advanced technology aided target detection and classification, and is compatible with most US/NATO missiles and rockets. The Comanche will help the U. S. maintain its lead in helicopter and electronic technologies, with 17 major aerospace manufacturers participating in the Comanche program.

This model is in precision polymer to exacting specifications. It is hand painted, and comes fully assembled with removable desk stand.
