The Pfalz D.III was first flown in the summer of 1917. It was an unequal span biplane with a 160-hp Mercedes engine, and had an open cockpit for the pilot beneath a cut-out in the trailing edge of the upper wing. The Pfalz D.III entered service on the Western Front in late 1917. When production ended, it was estimated that more than 600 had been delivered. All airplane models are Hand Carved, Hand Painted Mahogany and come fully assembled with removable desk stand.
