Saab-Fairchild 340 model airplane

A collaboration between Saab-Scania and Fairchild Industries in the US, the prototype of the 340 commuter plane first flew on January 25, 1983. However, as a result of an ailing financial position, Fairchild withdrew from the SF-340 program in October, 1985, and production was gradually transferred in its entirety to Saab's Linkoping home south of Stockholm. The 35-seat Saab 340B has a maximum cruising speed at 15,000 feet of 325 mph, service ceiling of 25,000 feet, and a range of 1,123 miles. All airplane models are Hand Carved, Hand Painted Mahogany and come fully assembled with removable desk stand. Dimensions: Wingspan, 171/2" -Length, 16 1/4" -Scale, 1/48 RETIRED Order
